Changes:

Scoring
16.1 The low point scoring system of RRS A will apply, modified so that when three or fewer races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.

Changed wording:
11.3 If the flag U has been viewed as preparatory signal, no part of a boat’s hull, crew or equipment shall be in the triangle formed by the starting line ends and first mark during the last minute before the boat’s starting signal. If a boat breaks this rule and is identified, it shall be disqualified without a hearing, but not if the race is restarted, or if the race is postponed or abandoned before the starting signal. This change RRS 26 and RRS 29.1 shall not apply.

Concept

Marstrand Big Boat Race is a regatta for sailors by sailors. The concept is simple…

  • Two days of intense racing – for both pros and amateurs.
  • Great social events – breakfasts, our famous dock party and the biggest regatta dinner on the west coast.
  • Bring the family – activities for everyone on the beautiful Marstrand island.
