J/111 Aiolia looking for crew for Aegean 600
Many thanks for the attention to my request. Currently three experienced sailors in the team. Looking for bowman, trimmer and pit for the shifts.
We plan to sail with a team of six as many years ago during the first such regatta, the Archipelago, that we won with an X36. This was in the opposite direction as aegean 600, slightly shorter 500 odd miles. Maybe 7 persons max.
My search for crew still goes on locally. Any help from experienced J111 sailors will be very appreciated. Last year we were third in our class, and want to improve on that!
If you succeed in finding sailors, it’s best they show up on July 6 so we can tune up together. Start is on July 10.
