Segla i Medelhavet på påsk
Detta kan kanske vara något för er som har abstinens?
Blur är ju ingen anslagstavla, men det här lät ju kul och lite lagom äventyrligt. Jag känner inte Scott så det är på egen risk :-)
Crew wanted for 2 week Easter
sailing adventure Greece to Slovenia.
April 2-15 “Evita” is a Bavaria 46 cruiser, 2005 model. 14.2 meters long, 4.2 meters wide. Swedish flagged and VAT tax is paid for. I own her personally and she has been in charter for 5 years. She has a new rig, new sails and the motor has been gone over very well. She has a Flexfold prop and sails between 6-11 knots depending on the wind. I plan to motor if it’s too slow or were headed into the wind and losing forward motion. She’s insured by Pantelius but Id prefer not to have to call them, let’s just be safe. I have safety harnesses for all and standard life vests as well. You may want to bring your favourite. Maybe a floating weather suit could be an idea just in case you’re cold some evening. She has modest electronics but is setup for Charter. I have several GPS chart plotters and a few books and many charts. I know I will need to buy a few more. I will bring a bit of new gear with me and buy a bit of new gear there.I plan to set sail the 2nd or the 3rd of April. I will be there the 30th of March latest to wax; bottom paint and install the new prop get her in the water. Then install the sails, tune the rig… then l I need to do a short sail sea trial and provision the boat. Evita will sail from Kos, Greece on the Turkish coast to Koper, Slovenia. That means we will sail many of the Greek islands and sail Croatia as well before we arrive in our destination Slovenia. It’s a great sail and plan to have several long, 3 day sails and some nice day sails. Weather is the thing that can slow us down or speed us up. Its often great weather that time of the year but have to keep a look out for those crazy winds. I’d like to make land on a few favourites that you should not miss.
I have beds for 8 but 6 or less is a more comfortable sail. More is crowded. We can possibly split up some legs if that’s smart. I’m looking for easy going fun people that make a great sail adventure. It’s not a racing boat but she is rather fast. Good social skills but don’t have to be an expert yet. There is a great chance to build some sea miles and make new friends. You can practice all your sea skills or learn from the others. It’s a big boat with tons of room. 4 cabins, 4 heads 3 showers and made to travel in comfort. I plan to offer my boat and pay for the fuel and the crew share their own food costs and some marina costs if that’s ok. I would prefer non smokers and moderate drinking is fine just not on watch. Once on land do as you choose.
After Evita is loaded on the truck in Slovenia the 16th I plan to have a few free days in Venice, Italy then fly or take the train to meet Evita in Kiel, Germany around the 20th. Evita will be placed back in the water rigged and tuned then sail to Stockholm around the 22nd of April. The last leg is 3 days from Kiel. I have a few friends already that have volunteered for that but possibly there’s room for that as well especially if you have sailed the first part.
Oh yes about me. I live in Stockholm I have both American and Swedish passports. I work in the Film/TV business and have a small TV company based in Stockholm. I absolutely love sailing and learned when I was 12. I have a Swedish captains VIII licence but am learning every day I’m out there. I’m not an expert but have a good general knowledge.
If this sounds interesting and please pass it on to anyone else that could be fun to have along.

“She has a Flexfold prop and sails between 6-11 knots depending on the wind. I plan to motor if it’s too slow or were headed into the wind and losing forward motion.”,,,as usual: A Bavaria for sail has either lost it’s engine power or is going upwind. No thx, but have a nice trip !!

as usual?
