Ännu ett race man måste ha på sin bucket list?
This edition of the Rolex Spirit of Yachting film series features the action and highlights of the 2017 Giraglia Rolex Cup. Nearly 250 yachts took part in the week-long sailing programme from 9 to 17 June, with 209 of them entering the flagship race from Saint-Tropez, France to Genoa, Italy. Overall victory in the 65th Giraglia Rolex Cup went to Freccia Rossa, a predominantly Russian-crewed TP52 owned by Vadim Yakimenko, and line honours for fastest finish was won by Dieter Schön’s Maxi 72 from Germany. Their exploits were rewarded with Rolex timepieces at the final prize-giving, held at the Yacht Club Italiano’s base in Genoa.
