The 2011 season has been largely a tale of three teams, each now vying for the 2011 title – Ian Williams (GBR) Team GAC Pindar, Francesco Bruni (ITA) Bruni Racing and Torvar Mirsky (AUS) The Wave Muscat. Just over six points separate them with just the Monsoon Cup to go, an event that, for added spice, awards 1.5 times the points of a standard Tour event and a US$500,000 prize pool.
