This week on America’s Cup Uncovered we are in Italy for the America’s Cup World Series Venice. We check in with our skippers – old and young – to hear their thoughts on just how physical the AC45s really are. The confident youth say you need to be young, fit and strong to complete in this sport now. Results could prove otherwise. Loick Peyron and his team on Energy Team France capture the Fleet Racing Championship title in Venice. Loick at age 53 may just have proved the young guns wrong. Speaking of young guns, we announced the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup while in Venice; a few youth sailors from Northern Italy had the chance to test their hiking skills along side ORACLE TEAM USA’s Jimmy Spithill.
