Track your race at Marstrand Big Boat
RaceQs is a pretty cool way to analyze your racing. We used it last year and it worked great (and was easy to manage). Install the app and try it out during the clinic Friday!
Oh, and a big thanks to Johan who’s pushing this.
To enhance the sailing experience of the upcoming event we provide the possibility to use RaceQs to track your boat and automatically connect to a live broadcast of the event.
You only need to download the RaceQs app to your smartphone and add your boatname as defined in the NOR. You do not have to register at RaceQs even if I recommend to do so.
This is all free and I do it just because I enjoy using RaceQs myself and try my best to help making the MBBR 2016 live forever online :-)
Instructions
1. Install the RaceQs app on iPhone (link) or Android (link)Additional installing video:
2. Create an account (not mandatory) and use your real boatname as registered to the regatta
3. Make sure that the settings for live streaming in set to ON, and Roll pitch and yawl to ON
4. Make sure that you have the phone connected to external power and fasted firmly to a flat surface close to the center of the boat below deck as it will track the movements and this shows on the 3D replay.Don’t put it in your pocket.
Your boat will automatically connect to the regatta as you are sending data from the GPS coordinates of the race area.
NB: All broadcast will be delayed with 5 minutes to allow fair racing
The race will be broadcasted live on : http://raceqs.com/regattas/51764
The race can be checked and analyzed on the same link afterwards.Link to MBBR 2015: http://raceqs.com/regattas/45569
Happy Racing and good luck

Det såg dåligt ut med live streaming under dagens tune up race. Kom igen nu så vi blir så många som möjligt under helgen. Det är ett bra och kul sätt att kunna gå tillbaka senare och analysera race!
