My new boat, J/109 #326 at J/Europe. We made a trip to France in may to find out more about the building process and to get some “specials” done to the boat.
“Convoi Exceptionnel“. The boat arrived in july on a trailer together with a J/80. The driver managed to take the wrong exit…
but finally arrived at Björlanda Kile. Sweet…
First sail, just trying to figure things out. Emil Wiberg helping out.
First race was Hermanö Runt. We hadn’t recieved our gennaker so we had to go with a smaller (from a Archambault 35) for the first races.
Next up was Tjörn Runt. Another windy race with 20-25 knots of wind.
Fast sailing through some tight passages…
…and through the pittoresque Kyrkesund with lots of spectators.
Fighting with the 11:meters.
After racing all races in +20 knots, we finally had some lighter winds to do some testing…
…together with Pär Lindforss from Quantum.
20-32 knots of wind, and not enough pople on the rail. More pictures here.
Here’s a short video from the fast reaching towards Marstrand.
Finishing the race just south of Martsrand.
Going home in a perfect 6-8 knots of wind.
Almost back in Långedrag. Also shows our Nexus instrument setup.
