Wally och Luca Bassini har kommit fram till att 100 fot är den perfekta storleken och har därför skapat sin egen lilla box-regel med Wallycento.
We were asked by several passionate owners to create a fleet of yachts sharing similar high performance. The goal is to have even more fun by increasing the closeness of the racing and the competitive level of our very comfortable and fully equipped cruising yachts.
This is the perfect size to combine absolute comfort, outstanding performance, and racing manoeuvrability. As a result, over the years Wallycento will retain their value and remain very competitive in the international racing circuit.

Matrisen kör Primo Cup i Monaco
Vissa har det bra. Matrisen inleder sin säsong i Monaco den här helgen och här kommer en kort rapport från gänget:
Finalen på vinterseglingarna för one-designbåtar i Medelhavet, Primo-Cup, går under två helger i februari. Denna helg seglar Platu 25, Longtze, Smeralda 888 och X-35 på kryss-länsbana i Monacobukten. Foto: Carlo Borlengi (bara en sån sak).
I X-35 är det 9 båtar anmälda och startfältet är högklassigt. Av båtarna från senaste VM finns ettan, trean, fyran, åttan och nian på startlinjen.
Efter första dagen, som gick i lätta vindar kring 1 – 5 m/s, leder gör ReadyXsea före Mag Jackpot. Matrisen ligger sexa efter serien 2, 3 och 10. I sista racet gick maxtiden ut eftersom vinden dog ut och Matrisen fick en DNF och 10 p.
Ombord på Matrisen finns Björn Österberg, som blev Mästarnas Mästare i Båstad i höstas, som rorsman. Björn säger att det känns bra att hänga med bästa båtarna i Europa trots att det är teamets första race för säsongen och att våra motståndarens har hållit i gång hela vintern. Det är visserligen lite ringrostigt men det känns att vi är på rätt väg.
Monaco är en härlig miljö att segla i och vädret påminner starkt om maj i Sverige.
Matrisen-teamet kommer härnäst att segla Maior Cup i Kiel i slutet av april innan hemresan till Stockholm och den svenska X-35 cupen. Säsongens stora mål är VM för X-35 i danska Århus i Augusti. Att som uppladdning möta de bästa båtarna i klassen är givetvis en bra start på förberedelserna inför VM.
VM i Århus ser ut att bli ett bra event. Just nu är 20 båtar förregistrerade för VM.
På X-35an Matrisen seglar förutom Björn Österberg som rorsman, Robert Szabo, strateg, Peter Thorwid, taktiker, Hanse Thorslund, stor, Leif Bergstöm, trim, Jesper Forsell, trim, Martin Nilsson, pit, och Johan Säwensten på fördäck.
